Student Maya Amin had a history of complex learning needs. She had little self belief, poor confidence and relationship issues at school. Maya and her then school thought she wouldn’t be able to achieve exam success or become successful in life. With the help of our Successful Minds Program, this has all changed. Maya has astounded her parents, school and herself with her amazing confidence, jumping from a D to low C student, to an A-B student. Her recent win displayed all her new skills as a confident communicator, presenter, organiser and entrepreneur. Winning an award as the most inspiring young person in 2016, selected from 30,000 young people is most definitely the performance of a Successful Mind.
Maya has completed the full Successful Minds Program and is so pleased with her results is continuing with ad hoc sessions.

Ed Gammie enrolled on a Successful Minds 1-2-1 Personal Breakthrough program to help his self-esteem, confidence and communication skills.
Although he graduated with a BSc in Film and Television Production, his confidence was at rock bottom and he was cleaning houses alone. Within a short time of starting the program, and with newly learned skills, his self belief transformed, as did his fluency in speech which had been a major issue.
ED landed a job at Double Negative (a major post-production facility in London) and has gone on to work on movies such as Harry Potter, Skyfall, Thor 2 and Exodus for which he received his first big screen credit as a Digital Artist. He has since gone to work on Star Wars the Force Awakens, which was nominated for both an Oscar and BAFTA.
ED says, "This program has changed my life in every way possible, everyone should go on this program, thank you!"
Last year our students achieved one or two grades above their predicted results. This year we are already seeing amazing results in recent mock exams with our Successful Minds Program. One such student is Xander Ward who has ADD and missed months of school with illness. He signed up for our 6 session program and has amazed his teachers with achieving B and even an A grade in exams. In fact his subject teachers were so surprised they asked him how he did it!
Xander says "I used find myself getting easily distracted, I couldn’t stay focussed and would forget what was going on in lessons. I had no motivation to study and felt extremely stressed. Now I feel in control, have more confidence and all my old problems have gone. I would definitely recommend this program to students."

"As part of our Thrive Week, we were pleased to host a Mind Training workshop led by Penny Johnson from the Seraphina Mind Studio, for 80 of our 6th form girls. Here at the Seraphina Mind Studio we have seen significant increases in the numbers of students and teachers referred for a broad range of stress and anxiety related problems. From poor concentration, focus, negative self-image, IBS, depression, OCD, eating disorders, stammering to self-harm and panic, the list is growing.
Stress and anxiety hormones are clinically proven to disable cognitive functioning, distorting feeling and emotions. Many of these problems could easily be minimised and even avoided with the correct mind training and knowledge.
